Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, financial records, and reporting. The candidate should have experience in accounting software, taxation, and inventory-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records.
- Prepare and file GST returns.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Generate invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans.
- Maintain inventory and stock records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in scrap trading, metal industry, or manufacturing is preferred.
Salary
- ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on experience)
