Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to provide quality nursing care, first aid and emergency medical support at a corporate Occupational Health Centre. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day OHC activities, employee care, medical documentation and coordination with the Occupational Health Physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to employee walk-ins and provide appropriate nursing care and first aid.
- Assess and record vital signs including BP, pulse, SpO₂, temperature and blood glucose.
- Assist the doctor during consultations, medical examinations and procedures.
- Provide immediate nursing support during medical emergencies and coordinate ambulance/hospital referrals when required.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor.
- Support pre-employment, periodic and occupational health medical examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, OHC registers, treatment records and daily/monthly reports.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, first-aid materials and medical consumables.
- Monitor stock levels and expiry dates and report requirements in a timely manner.
- Ensure medical equipment is available, functional and ready for use.
- Support employee health awareness, wellness and occupational health programs.
- Maintain OHC hygiene, cleanliness and infection-control standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information.
- Coordinate with doctors, OHC staff, ambulance services and hospitals as required.
- Follow organizational OHC procedures, safety protocols and occupational health guidelines.
Mandatory Eligibility
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing – Mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience – Mandatory
- 3–5 years of experience preferred
- Valid Nursing Registration.
- Experience in Occupational Health / Corporate OHC / Hospital / Clinic will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good clinical and emergency-handling skills.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
