Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Control & Panel Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in electrical control panel design, schematics, and panel engineering. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing industrial control panels, preparing electrical drawings, selecting components, and coordinating with production and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control panels such as PLC panels, MCC panels, PCC panels, VFD panels, and CRP panels based on project requirements.
- Prepare detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and terminal plans using tools like AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN / SolidWorks Electrical.
- Select electrical components including breakers, relays, PLCs, HMIs, contactors, VFDs, power supplies, and terminal blocks.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain engineering documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards such as IEC, IS, UL, or customer specifications.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, testing, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Support panel assembly, FAT/SAT testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Review customer specifications and provide technical clarifications.
- Implement design improvements for cost optimization and standardization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in control panel design and electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control circuits, power distribution, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent design software.
- Understanding of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.) is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial standards and panel manufacturing practices.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automation, process plants, renewable energy, or power systems.
- Hands-on exposure to panel testing, commissioning, or site support.
- Knowledge of relay logic and protection systems is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
