2. Role Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Mechanical Assembly to support the assembly, integration, inspection and documentation of precision mechanical and electromechanical equipment in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong practical skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
3. Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and electromechanical products as per engineering drawings, work instructions & SOPs
Perform precision fitting, fastening, alignment, mechanical integration and sub-assembly activities.
Verify dimensions, fitment and workmanship using standard measuring instruments.
Carry out functional checks, inspection and basic troubleshooting during assembly.
Maintain accurate production, inspection, and traceability records as per established procedures.
Ensure compliance with quality requirements, safety practices and 5S standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Identify and report defects, non-conformities, equipment issues or material shortages to the supervisor.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and Stores teams to achieve production objectives.
4. Technical Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and mechanical assembly instructions.
Practical knowledge of precision assembly, fastening, alignment and mechanical integration.
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and torque tools.
Basic understanding of fits and tolerances.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 60601, 5S or regulated manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP)
5. Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in Medical Device Manufacturing will be given preference. Experience in Precision Engineering, Machine Building, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Automation, CNC Assembly or other regulated manufacturing industries will also be considered.
6. Candidate Profile
Strong practical aptitude and manual assembly skills.
Quality-conscious with a high level of accuracy and workmanship.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work effectively in a team.
Willing to perform hands-on manufacturing and assembly activities.
Candidates with only service, maintenance or field support experience may not be suitable for this role.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
