Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)
Experience: 7–9 Years (Minimum 4 Years in Node.js)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 7–9 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in Node.js. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and building scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices while working with cloud platforms, databases, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Build secure, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions following industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability.
- Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product managers, and architects.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Required Qualifications
- 7–9 years of overall backend development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
- Knowledge of message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of security standards, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience working in high-volume, distributed systems.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
