Senior Civil Engineer (PMC)
We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer in Project Management Consulting (PMC) to oversees the entire lifecycle of construction projects. They act as the client's representative to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality specifications by managing contractors, resolving site issues, and enforcing safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Monitor daily construction activities, ensuring all works are executed strictly in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Quality & Safety Control: Conduct routine site inspections, enforce QA/QC procedures, and ensure strict compliance with occupational safety and local regulatory standards.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate with multiple agencies, delegate tasks, and address any disputes between contractors and the consultant's team.
- Billing & Cost Control: Review contractor running account (RA) bills, conduct physical verifications for payment and audit purposes, and assist in budget tracking.
- Planning & Reporting: Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), chair or lead progress review meetings, and monitor critical paths to prevent project delays.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's in Construction Management
- Experience: Typically 10-15+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a minimum of 5-8 years specifically in PMC environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and design software like AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, team leadership, and stakeholder communication capabilities
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
