We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage vehicle weighing operations at our dry port facility in Jalna. The candidate will ensure accurate weight records, smooth vehicle movement, and proper coordination with transporters and yard staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computerized weighbridge system for inbound/outbound trucks
- Record vehicle gross, tare, and net weights accurately
- Generate weighment slips, gate passes, and reports
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and warehouse/yard teams
- Maintain daily registers and system entries
- Ensure queue discipline and smooth traffic flow near weighbridge
- Report discrepancies, overloads, or system issues immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of weighbridge cabin
Requirements:
- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate preferred
- Experience in weighbridge operations, logistics, warehouse, transport, or port handling preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, billing/software entry)
- Good communication skills in Hindi/Marathi
- Ability to work in shifts
