We’re looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor Intern to join our gaming content team and help turn raw gameplay and recordings into engaging YouTube videos.
If you understand gaming content, enjoy watching YouTubers, and know what makes a video entertaining, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Edit YouTube gaming videos from raw gameplay and recorded footage.
- Create engaging hooks, intros, transitions, zooms, sound effects and visual effects.
- Add memes, reactions, subtitles, pop-ups and other elements to keep viewers engaged.
- Edit videos with strong pacing and storytelling rather than simply cutting clips together.
- Sync gameplay with voiceovers, reactions, music and sound effects.
- Create engaging moments from long recordings and identify the best/funniest/highest-retention clips.
- Edit YouTube Shorts/Reels from long-form gaming content when required.
- Follow the channel's editing style while also bringing new creative ideas.
- Make revisions based on feedback and maintain consistency across videos.
- Keep project files organized and deliver videos within deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who genuinely understands gaming and gaming content.
- Good knowledge of YouTube editing trends and creator-style editing.
- Basic to intermediate experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, After Effects or similar software.
- Good sense of timing, pacing, comedy and storytelling.
- Ability to recognize what makes a gaming moment entertaining.
- Understanding of sound effects, music, subtitles and visual effects.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new editing styles.
- Ability to take feedback positively and improve quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
Bonus Skills
- Experience editing gaming YouTube videos.
- Knowledge of Valorant, GTA, Minecraft, Fortnite, CS2, BGMI, COD or other popular games.
- Basic knowledge of After Effects / Motion Graphics.
- Ability to create or assist with YouTube thumbnails.
- Understanding of YouTube retention and audience engagement.
- Experience creating Shorts/Reels/TikToks.
Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
