· Perform manual and machine soldering of electronic components on PCBs as per drawings and work instructions
· Handle through-hole and SMD soldering (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, etc.)
· Read and understand PCB layouts, schematics, and assembly drawings
· Ensure solder joints meet quality standards (IPC guidelines where applicable)
· Inspect soldered boards for defects such as cold joints, bridges, dry joints, and misalignment
· Carry out rework and repair of defective solder joints when required
· Use soldering tools such as soldering iron, hot air gun, flux, solder wire, and desoldering tools
· Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices
· Follow safety procedures and company policies during production
· Support testing and troubleshooting teams when required
· Maintain daily production and quality records
