We are looking for a passionate Junior Video Editor who is creative, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a fast-paced production environment.
Role Overview
The Junior Video Editor will assist in editing wedding films, corporate videos, promotional content, and social media reels. This role is ideal for someone who has a good eye for storytelling, understands pacing and music, and wants to build a career in professional video editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit wedding highlights, teaser films, and full-length wedding videos.
- Edit corporate videos, interviews, promotional films, and event coverage.
- Create Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content.
- Synchronise audio, music, and video footage.
- Perform basic colour correction and audio balancing.
- Organise and manage project files efficiently.
- Export videos in the required formats for different platforms.
- Work closely with photographers, cinematographers, and the creative team to meet deadlines.
- Maintain HiQ's quality standards across every project.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a bonus.
- Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and frame rates.
- Good sense of storytelling, rhythm, and music selection.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to receive feedback and implement revisions positively.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
Eligibility
- Diploma or Degree in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film Editing, or a related field preferred.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with a portfolio or sample edits will be given preference.

Working Hours
Monday to Saturday
9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Additional hours may be required during weddings, events, or urgent project deliveries. Compensatory time off will be considered based on business requirements.
