Key Responsibilities :
1. Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day operations of buildings, infrastructure, and utilities.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across the facility.
2. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage external vendors (housekeeping, security, maintenance).
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and ensure timely service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms.
3. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, fire safety norms, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills.
- Maintain documentation for inspections, licenses, and certifications.
4. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, including maintenance and operational costs.
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Approve invoices and manage procurement of supplies and equipment.
5. Space & Asset Management
- Plan and optimize space utilization across the facility.
- Maintain records of assets, equipment, and inventory.
- Ensure proper upkeep and lifecycle management of assets.
6. Team Management
- Supervise facility staff including technicians, housekeeping, and security teams.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure training and development.
- Maintain staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
7. Guest/Employee Experience
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests/employees.
- Address complaints and service requests promptly.
- Implement service improvements based on feedback.
8. Emergency & Crisis Management
- Develop and implement emergency response plans (fire, power failure, natural disasters).
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required.
- Ensure readiness of backup systems (generators, water supply, etc.).
9. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain logs for inspections, repairs, and compliance records.
- Use facility management systems (if applicable) for tracking and reporting.
