Job Summary
The PGT English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English Language and Literature to students of Classes XI and XII. The role involves fostering critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, and analytical skills while preparing students for CBSE Board examinations and higher education. The teacher is expected to create an engaging classroom environment, integrate modern teaching methodologies, and contribute to the overall academic and personal development of students.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Teach English Language and Literature to Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Deliver engaging, student-centric lessons using innovative teaching strategies and digital resources.
- Develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and literary analysis.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, public speaking, and effective communication.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct periodic assessments, unit tests, practical activities, and examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for Board Examinations through revision plans, mock tests, and exam-oriented guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic progress, and performance.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (M.A.) in English from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification (if applicable as per school policy) is desirable.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school (preferred).
Note: Salary offered will be based on your current salary.
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
