About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Malayalam Transcreator who can creatively adapt English content into Malayalam while preserving the original message, intent, emotional appeal, and cultural relevance.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcreate English content into engaging and natural Malayalam.
- Adapt messaging, expressions, idioms, and cultural references for Malayalam audiences.
- Preserve the intent, tone, brand voice, and emotional impact of the original content.
- Create culturally relevant and audience-friendly adaptations rather than literal translations.
- Proofread and refine content for language quality and consistency.
- Follow brand guidelines, terminology, and client-specific requirements.
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.
Requirements
- Excellent command of written Malayalam and English.
- Strong understanding of Malayalam culture, language nuances, and audience preferences.
- Prior experience in transcreation, localization, creative translation, or content adaptation.
- Strong creative writing and storytelling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain brand tone and messaging across languages.
- Experience with marketing, advertising, or digital content is an added advantage.
Engagement Type: Freelance / Project-based
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 per week
