Job Title: Laser Welding OperatorJob Summary:
The Laser Welding Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser welding machines to join metal or thermoplastic components with high precision. The role ensures quality production, adherence to specifications, and safe operation of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser welding machines as per standard operating procedures
- Set up machine parameters such as power, speed, and focus based on material and job requirements
- Load and align components accurately before welding
- Perform welding on various materials (stainless steel, aluminum, etc.)
- Inspect welded parts for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy
- Identify and correct welding defects (cracks, porosity, incomplete fusion)
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment
- Maintain production and quality records
- Follow safety procedures, especially related to laser radiation and protective equipment
- Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams for continuous improvement
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of laser welding technology and processes
- Understanding of welding symbols and engineering drawings
- Ability to operate CNC/automated welding systems (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety standards related to laser operations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹16,516.50 - ₹30,304.53 per month
