The Solar MWV Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing module washing and vegetation (MWV) operations for utility-scale solar power plants. The role ensures optimal plant performance by maintaining panel cleanliness and site vegetation control while meeting safety, quality, and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution
- Develop MWV operation plans for solar PV plants (cleaning schedules, vegetation control cycles).
- Coordinate with O&M teams to align MWV activities with plant operations.
- Ensure timely execution of module cleaning using MWV systems or manual processes.
Operations Management
- Manage deployment and utilization of Module Washing Vehicles (MWVs).
- Oversee vegetation management activities (grass cutting, weed removal, herbicide use if applicable).
- Monitor water usage, logistics, and efficiency of cleaning operations.
Team & Vendor Management
- Supervise field teams, contractors, and vendors involved in MWV activities.
- Ensure manpower planning, training, and productivity tracking.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.
Performance Monitoring
- Track impact of cleaning on plant generation (PR improvement, yield gain).
- Maintain reports on cleaning cycles, vegetation control, and operational KPIs.
- Use data to optimize frequency and cost of MWV activities.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies during field operations.
- Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory norms.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage MWV operation budgets.
- Optimize costs related to water, fuel, labor, and equipment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Maintain logs of cleaning schedules, equipment usage, and incidents.
- Present performance insights to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Renewable Energy) or related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in solar O&M, with exposure to MWV or cleaning operations.
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
