Service Trainer – Automobile

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Service Trainer to strengthen the technical expertise and customer service skills of our after-sales service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging training programs, improving workshop performance, ensuring OEM compliance, and supporting continuous employee development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technical training programs for technicians, service advisors, and workshop personnel.
- Conduct induction and onboarding training for new employees.
- Identify skill gaps and develop training plans to enhance employee competency.
- Deliver training on vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, service processes, and new automotive technologies.
- Facilitate technical knowledge sharing related to new vehicle launches, service campaigns, recalls, and OEM updates.
- Coordinate with OEM technical support teams to resolve complex service and diagnostic issues.
- Conduct soft skills and customer handling training to improve customer experience.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, practical demonstrations, and workplace observations.
- Ensure adherence to OEM standards, workshop processes, safety practices, and quality requirements.
- Support service teams in improving productivity, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Maintain training records, certifications, attendance reports, and training schedules.
- Coach and mentor employees to support career growth and performance improvement.
- Prepare and submit training reports and compliance updates to management.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- 3–8 years of experience in automobile service operations, technical support, or training functions.
- Experience with authorized dealerships or OEM service networks is highly preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Excellent presentation, training, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Good understanding of OEM service standards and workshop operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and training management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
