CNC programmer and operator:-
In the fenestration industry, a CNC Programmer and Operator (often a combined role in smaller fabrication units) is responsible for translating technical window and door designs into machine-readable code and
managing the high-precision cutting, drilling, and milling of aluminum profiles.
Key Responsibilities
- CNC Programming: Develop and write programs using G-code and M-code or CAD/CAM software
to control machining centers.
- Design Translation: Interpret architectural blueprints and shop drawings to determine exact
machining requirements, such as drainage holes, lock cut-outs, and hinge positions.
- Machine Setup: Install and align specialized cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures for specific profile
systems.
- Profile Fabrication: Operate multi-axis CNC machines to perform high-precision cutting, routing,
and drilling of aluminum profiles.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct "First Article Inspections" and use precision tools like vernier
calipers and micrometers to verify parts meet strict tolerance levels.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment to prevent downtime
