Digital Nest is hiring a Graphic Designer Trainer who can train students in practical, industry-ready design skills and prepare them for internships and job placements. This role requires strong hands-on experience, structured training delivery, and the ability to mentor students toward professional portfolio standards.
This is not a theory-based role. The focus is on execution, output quality, and student placement outcomes.
Conduct structured classroom sessions covering core and advanced graphic design concepts
Train students on tools including:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Figma
Cover branding, typography, layout systems, social media creatives, print design, and UI fundamentals
Assign real-time and simulation-based design projects
Conduct structured feedback and revision cycles
Ensure each student develops 6–8 strong portfolio projects
Maintain consistent quality benchmarks
Guide students in building professional portfolios
Conduct mock reviews and presentation practice
Prepare students for internship and placement interviews
Train on client communication and real-world workflow expectations
Track batch progress and student performance
Maintain attendance and evaluation reports
Identify underperforming students and implement corrective plans
Stay updated with current design trends and tools
Suggest curriculum upgrades aligned with market demand
Bring practical industry insights into training sessions
3–8 years of professional graphic design experience
Strong portfolio in branding, digital creatives, and print design
Advanced knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles
Strong mentoring and communication skills
Ability to manage structured training schedules
Experience in agencies, startups, or client-facing roles
Prior training or mentoring exposure
Understanding of placement-oriented skill development
Portfolio quality of students
Batch completion & learning outcome consistency
Student placement readiness
