We are looking for an experienced Overseas Education Counselor who can independently manage the complete student journey : from converting an initial lead into a client to successfully guiding the student through university selection, applications and visa processing.
This is a sales + counseling + student management role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with students and parents, understanding their goals, building trust, converting prospective leads, and then owning the relationship through the application and visa process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion & Counseling
- Respond to and counsel prospective students and parents through calls, meetings and follow-ups.
- Understand the student's academic background, career goals, budget and preferred destinations.
- Convert qualified leads into enrolled clients.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the counseling process.
University & Course Selection
- Evaluate student profiles and recommend suitable countries, universities and courses.
- Help students understand admission requirements, eligibility, costs, scholarships and career outcomes.
- Develop realistic university shortlists based on the student's profile and objectives.
Application Management
- Guide students through the complete university application process.
- Coordinate with internal application teams for documentation, applications, SOPs, LORs and other requirements.
- Track application deadlines, offers and pending requirements.
- Keep students and parents regularly updated on application progress.
Offer, Scholarship & Decision Support
- Help students evaluate university offers and scholarship opportunities.
- Advise students and parents on final university selection based on academics, finances, career outcomes and overall fit.
Visa Guidance
- Guide students through the visa process after admission.
- Help students understand documentation, financial requirements and visa timelines.
- Prepare students for credibility/visa interviews where applicable.
- Coordinate with the visa team and ensure applications remain on schedule.
What We Are Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in overseas education counseling, preferably with experience handling the complete student lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of major study destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe.
- Proven ability to convert leads into clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable interacting with both students and parents.
- Strong understanding of university admissions, applications and visa processes.
- Ability to manage multiple students and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented and commercially aware, while maintaining a student-first approach.
- Good working knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office/Google Workspace is preferred.

Pay: ₹11,184.81 - ₹35,648.68 per month
