The Opportunity:
UST is looking for Procurement Executive
Responsibilities:
- Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Compare vendor proposals and negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
- Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Maintain supplier database and vendor performance records.
- Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track deliveries and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouses.
- Manage customs documentation and import/export requirements where applicable.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment activities.
- Resolve shipping, delivery, and logistics-related issues.
- Need to have good knowledge of Incoterms.
- Process purchase requisitions through the complete P2P cycle.
- Perform PO creation, amendments, and closure activities.
- Conduct 3-way matching (PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice).
- Validate vendor invoices and coordinate payment processing.
- Follow up on invoice discrepancies and resolve supplier queries.
- Ensure timely invoice approval and payment execution.
- Maintain accurate procurement and payment records.
- Support audits and compliance requirements.
- Prepare procurement and logistics reports.
- Track key KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, PO cycle time, invoice processing time, and delivery performance.
- Provide management with procurement and spend analysis reports.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within procurement and P2P function
- Need to have complete knowledge of Ariba tool.
