Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), cloud governance, automation, DevSecOps, and multi-account AWS environments.
This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can design scalable cloud platforms, establish AWS best practices, develop reusable infrastructure modules, and support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain AWS Landing Zones for secure, scalable, and governed cloud environments.
- Design and manage multi-account AWS architectures using AWS Organizations and AWS Control Tower.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules, golden templates, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and implement AWS governance standards, security guardrails, tagging strategies, and compliance frameworks.
- Design secure AWS networking architectures including:
- VPC
- Subnets
- Route Tables
- Internet Gateway
- NAT Gateway
- Transit Gateway
- VPN
- Direct Connect
- PrivateLink
- Security Groups
- Network ACLs
- Implement enterprise IAM strategies, permission boundaries, cross-account roles, and least-privilege access models.
- Build and optimize DevSecOps pipelines integrating infrastructure security and compliance checks.
- Lead cloud architecture reviews and recommend scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized AWS solutions.
- Collaborate with development, security, networking, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native platforms.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure using Amazon CloudWatch and other enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud engineering standards and technical documentation.

- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud experience.
- Strong expertise in designing and managing enterprise AWS environments.

- Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience implementing cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
