Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Scientific Medical Writer to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in developing high-quality Systematic Reviews, Original Research Articles, Meta-analyses, and other scientific publications. The candidate must possess excellent scientific writing skills, a strong understanding of research methodologies, and the ability to produce publication-ready manuscripts while adhering to journal guidelines and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, develop, and edit high-quality Systematic Reviews, Original Research Articles, Narrative Reviews, Meta-analyses, Case Reports, and other scientific manuscripts.
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches using databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Embase, and Google Scholar.
- Critically appraise and synthesize scientific evidence to prepare accurate and evidence-based manuscripts.
- Prepare publication-ready manuscripts in accordance with the target journal's author guidelines.
- Develop all sections of scientific manuscripts, including the Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, logical flow, clarity, consistency, and compliance with ethical publication standards.
- Edit, proofread, and format manuscripts before submission.
- Address reviewer comments and revise manuscripts as required during the publication process.
- Collaborate effectively with researchers, clinicians, and internal project teams.
- Deliver high-quality assignments within agreed timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Public Health, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in scientific or medical writing.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing Systematic Reviews and Original Research Articles.
- Strong understanding of research methodology, clinical research, evidence-based medicine, and scientific publication practices.
- Hands-on experience with reference management software such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manuscript submission and responding to journal reviewer comments.
- Familiarity with international reporting guidelines such as PRISMA, CONSORT, STROBE, CARE, and ARRIVE.
- Knowledge of publication ethics, plagiarism checks, and journal submission processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines.

Experience Required:
