About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth through corporate tie-ups, international partnerships, technology collaborations for new projects (FMCG/MED/Eng fields), and the promotion of our "Be Your Own Business Owner" (BYOBO) scheme. This role also targets students and universities, positioning entrepreneurship as an alternative to further education, with project support from the company, banks, and government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Tie-ups: Identify and forge strategic alliances with corporates for project collaborations, sponsorships, and business opportunities.
- International Partners: Develop partnerships with overseas investors, technology providers, and business networks to expand project reach.
- Technology Providers: Engage with tech firms for innovative solutions, platforms, and tools to enhance project delivery.
- BYOBO Scheme Promotion: Pitch the "Be Your Own Business Owner" program to college students and universities, encouraging them to invest in field-relevant projects instead of pursuing further education. Coordinate support from banks (loans) and government (subsidies/incentives).
- Channel Development: Build a pipeline of student entrepreneurs, mentor them through project execution, and manage relationships with university placement cells and entrepreneurship cells.
- Reporting: Track lead generation, conversion, and partnership outcomes; present monthly MIS to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA in Marketing, Business Development, or Entrepreneurship with 5+ years experience.
- Strong network in corporate, startup ecosystem, education, or government agencies.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
- Familiarity with student finance, government schemes, and project-based learning models.
- Fluency in English and local languages preferred.
