- Design Review & Engineering: Review and approve E&M engineering drawings, including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), plant layouts, and cable routing schedules.
- Installation & Commissioning: Supervise the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of critical electro-mechanical equipment (pumps, air blowers, chemical dosing systems, scrapers, and filtration units).
- Automation & Instrumentation: Oversee the integration of PLC, SCADA, and automated sensor systems (pH, DO, flow meters) to ensure seamless, data-driven plant operations.
- Vendor & Procurement Support: Assist in preparing technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for procurement. Evaluate vendor technical bids and conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) where required.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Partner closely with the Project Execution and O&M teams to ensure smooth handovers, minimize technical bottlenecks, and support structural compliance for Consent for Establishment (CFE) and Consent for Operation (CFO) requirements.
- Standardization: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the installation, safety testing, and calibration of all electro-mechanical assets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of core engineering experience handling E&M aspects of water/wastewater treatment plants, heavy fluid handling systems, or related environmental infrastructure.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in rotating equipment (centrifugal/submersible pumps, roots blowers).
- Strong grip on electrical distribution, control panel design (APFC, VFD, AMF panels), and earthing systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a strong advantage.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage technical site teams, coordinate with contractors, and deliver within strict project timelines.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
