The Engineering Associate is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and smooth operation of hotel facilities, guest rooms, and engineering systems. The role ensures that all equipment and utilities function efficiently to maintain guest comfort, safety, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Operations
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment and systems
- Attend to daily maintenance complaints from guest rooms and public areas
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
- Repair lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, pumps, and minor carpentry works
- Ensure proper functioning of air conditioning, water supply, and power systems
Preventive Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance activities
- Inspect hotel facilities regularly to identify repair requirements
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service reports
- Assist in equipment installation and testing
Guest Service Support
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest maintenance requests
- Minimize inconvenience to guests during maintenance work
- Maintain hotel quality and safety standards
Safety & Compliance
- Follow engineering SOPs and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with fire, electrical, and workplace safety regulations
- Use tools and PPE properly
- Report unsafe conditions immediately
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, and other departments
- Support senior engineers and technicians during major repairs
- Assist during emergencies and breakdown situations
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
