Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose Problems: Use tools to figure out why a car is not working properly.
- Routine Maintenance: Do regular checks like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair Parts: Fix or replace broken or worn-out car parts.
- Safety Checks: Make sure all repairs meet local safety rules.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Mechanics: Understanding how engines, transmissions, and electrical systems work.
- Tool Use: Knowing how to safely use hand tools and heavy garage equipment.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to find the root cause of a car trouble.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy objects (like tires or engines) and stand for long hours.
Typical Requirements
- Education: ITI Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanic (MMV) or Automobile Technology.
- Experience: Often open to fresh graduates, though prior apprenticeship or workshop experience is highly valued.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
