The Customer Success Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customers and a key liaison across NOV teams, delivering end-to-end data solutions that connect wellsite operations to office environments. This role acts as the primary point of contact for customer deployments, ensuring successful implementation, data integrity, and ongoing operational support. As the lead data analyst for NOV Max Completions, the CSM is responsible for enabling a consistent and holistic digital view of onsite completion operations through effective data curation and system integration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for customer solution planning, delivery, and support.
- Lead deployment of NOV Max Completions solutions, including hands-on configuration and system setup.
- Travel to field locations to support installations and operational rollouts.
- Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for sales, development, and support teams.
- Support software development efforts by providing domain expertise in completions operations (fracturing, wireline, coiled tubing).
- Develop and manage deployment plans to ensure successful customer onboarding.
- Configure backend systems for new equipment and resources.
- Coordinate installation requirements with field operations teams.
- Monitor customer performance and conduct daily data integrity checks.
- Develop and maintain workflows for managing and syncing completions data across NOV and customer systems.
- Communicate post-job data requirements to service company personnel.
- Act as product owner for system administration tools and processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more: hydraulic fracturing, wireline, coiled tubing, or jointed pipe operations.
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Product, Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define client issues and coordinate solutions.
- General understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, databases, security).
- Drilling and/or completions experience.
- Field experience installing or deploying systems.
- Basic programming knowledge.
- Networking troubleshooting skills.
- Electronics troubleshooting skills.
