About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, well-spoken Broker Support Associate to act as the operational backbone for our brokers. You’ll own the end-to-end process — from initial case/scenario intake all the way through to settlement — handling the administrative and coordination workload so our brokers can focus on advising clients and growing the business. This is a high-communication, detail-driven role ideal for someone early in their finance career.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cases from intake through to settlement, keeping each file accurate, complete, and moving forward.
- Collect, verify, and organize client documentation and information required at each stage.
- Liaise between brokers, clients, and lenders to keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Track timelines, follow up proactively on outstanding items, and flag risks or delays early.
- Maintain clean records in CRM/workflow systems and prepare files for broker review.
- Handle routine queries professionally and escalate complex matters to the broker.
- Ensure all activity meets relevant compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A background in finance, commerce, accounting, economics, or a related field (degree or relevant coursework).
- Excellent verbal and written communication — this is non-negotiable. You must be clear, confident, and professional with clients and partners alike.
- Strong organizational skills and genuine attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and competing deadlines without dropping the ball.
- Proficiency with standard office tools (email, spreadsheets); CRM experience is a plus.
- A proactive, ownership mindset and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a BPO, broking, banking, or financial-services support role.
- Familiarity with the settlement process in financial broking.
