Job Summary
The Factory Manager will be responsible for the overall management of factory operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, and compliance. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive continuous operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily factory operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Improve production efficiency while minimizing downtime and operational costs.
- Monitor daily production reports and implement corrective actions where required.
Quality Management
- Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with company quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with ISO Quality Management Systems and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Maintenance & Asset Management
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure maximum machine availability and operational reliability.
- Plan maintenance schedules to minimize production interruptions.
Manpower Management
- Lead and supervise production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Allocate manpower effectively across departments.
- Conduct employee performance reviews and identify training requirements.
- Maintain discipline and promote a positive work culture.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety policies, and environmental standards.
- Promote a zero-accident culture by implementing EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure proper PPE usage.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor raw material consumption and finished goods inventory.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores to maintain uninterrupted production.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, or other process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze production data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive productivity enhancement and operational excellence.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, Stores, HR, and Sales departments.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.
- Participate in management review meetings and strategic planning.
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
