Role Overview
This is a 100% dedicated, high-impact recruitment position. As a specialist role, it allows you to focus fully on talent acquisition rather than generalist HR administration, payroll, or employee engagement. Your primary mandate is to identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent for NIMMI Hardware.
We are looking for a sharp, well-networked recruitment specialist who excels at proactive sourcing and is confident engaging high-performing professionals across the industry. This role is best suited to someone who actively builds talent pipelines and reaches out to candidates directly, rather than relying primarily on inbound applications from job boards. A significant part of the mandate is building NIMMI’s sales teams across many regions, so the ability to hire effectively at scale and across locations is central to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Building the Sales Team: Take primary ownership of hiring for NIMMI Hardware’s growing sales organisation—recruiting field sales, channel sales, and regional sales team members across multiple regions, at the pace and scale our sales-led growth requires.
- Market & Talent Mapping: Develop a deep understanding of the talent landscape across the Furniture Hardware and allied Building Materials sectors to identify high-performing sales, technical, and leadership professionals.
- Direct Sourcing & Candidate Engagement: Proactively and professionally reach out to high-performing professionals, sharing NIMMI’s growth story and the opportunities this role offers.
- End-to-End Execution: Own the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across levels and regions—from initial alignment with business heads and market research, through interviewing to final closure.
- Offer Management & Closing: Manage complex offer discussions, variable pay structures, and notice-period considerations, supporting candidates through to a smooth and successful joining.
- Culture & Fit Assessment: Assess candidates against behavioural indicators to ensure they bring the ownership, drive, and adaptability to thrive in our performance-driven culture.
- Talent Pipelines: Build and nurture a continuous pipeline of talent for key regional sales and technical positions to support our ongoing expansion.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 6 to 7 years of core recruitment experience, with a proven track record in executive search firms or fast-paced corporate talent acquisition teams.
- Industry Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity with hiring structures, channel sales models, and dealer networks within Building Materials, Architectural Hardware, Sanitaryware, Auto Components, Paints, or allied sectors. This role specifically requires a track record of hiring within product or manufacturing-driven sectors; backgrounds confined solely to IT, BFSI, or BPO recruitment are not aligned with this position.
- Sourcing Skills: Strong command of sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean and Resdex searches, industry mapping, professional networks, and thorough reference checks.
- Direct Hiring Capability: Proven ability to close niche or senior roles through direct sourcing and headhunting, rather than relying primarily on job-board applications.
- Executive Presence: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the credibility to engage senior sales leaders and experienced corporate professionals.
