Job Summary
The Junior Engineer assists in the execution and supervision of construction activities at real estate project sites. The role involves monitoring daily site operations, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with contractors, maintaining project documentation, and supporting timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising day-to-day construction activities.
- Monitor work progress according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Verify measurements and quantities for billing purposes.
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in material planning, receipt, and inventory control.
- Report project progress, issues, and delays to senior engineers.
- Support testing and commissioning activities when required.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and construction resources.
- Participate in project meetings and prepare progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in construction or real estate projects.
- Freshers with internship experience may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Familiarity with quality control and site safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of estimation and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects.
- Understanding of RCC works, finishing works, and MEP coordination.
- Knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
