Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of plant machinery and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules for machines and equipment.
- Inspect mechanical components and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and alignment of new machinery.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports on machine performance.
- Coordinate with the Production, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams for efficient plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues independently.
- Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
