The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of bookkeeping professionals, ensuring quality and timely delivery of client work, coaching team members, and driving operational excellence. This role requires strong people management skills combined with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of bookkeepers and accounting professionals.
- Allocate work and manage team capacity to meet client deadlines.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and turnaround times.
- Review work to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal quality standards.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Escalate and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Work closely with Operations Managers and client-facing teams to ensure service excellence.
- Track and report team KPIs and performance metrics.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, KPO, or shared services environments.
- Minimum 1–2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Australian bookkeeping or accounting firms.
- Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar accounting software.
- Experience managing a team of 5–15 professionals.
- Exposure to client-facing communication and stakeholder management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
