Position: Production Supervisor
Industry: Capital Equipment Manufacturing / Fabrication Unit
Location: Thakurpukur, Kolkata
Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month (CTC)
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production and fabrication activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Lead and manage production staff to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Monitor fabrication and welding processes to maintain product quality.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with production planning, quality, stores, and maintenance teams.
- Prepare daily production reports and update ERP/MIS records.
- Optimize manpower and resources to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
Required Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a production/fabrication environment.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, quality control, and production planning.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
