About the Role
We are looking for a QA fresher with strong technical knowledge to be based out of our primary warehouse in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to quality SOPs for all material inward and outward activities, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal teams when required. Occasional travel to our 3PL warehouse locations will be part of the role.
What You’ll Do
– Execute and document QC checks for all material inward — RM, PM, SFG, and FG — against approved specifications and COA.
– Carry out and record organoleptic tests (appearance, colour, texture, taste) and physical condition checks on every inward batch.
– Execute outward QC checklists for material transfers to CMU, 3PL warehouse, and inkjet printing.
– Verify MTR, STN, batch numbers, and quantities against transfer documents before every dispatch.
– Ensure FEFO is strictly followed for all inward and outward activities.
– Affix quarantine, approved, and rejected labels accurately and promptly.
– Maintain GRN, sampling records, COA files, inward and outward checklists in the prescribed format.
– Coordinate with the Warehouse, Purchase, and Production teams to resolve quality holds or documentation gaps.
– Report non-conformances and rejections to the QA lead immediately with proper documentation.
– Travel to 3PL warehouse locations for QC activities as and when required.
What We’re Looking For
– B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
– Strong theoretical understanding of QA/QC principles, GMP, and documentation practices.
– Familiarity with FSSAI requirements and quality standards for nutraceuticals or food products is a plus.
– Detail-oriented with a habit of accurate and timely documentation — no shortcuts on records.
– Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including physical inspection of materials and packaging.
– Willingness to travel to other warehouse locations on need basis within Hyderabad.
– Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination — Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Production.
– Proficiency in basic computer tools for record-keeping and reporting.
Non-Negotiables
– Commitment to following SOPs without deviation — this is a compliance-first role.
– Integrity in documentation — no backdating, no approximations.
– Willingness to flag issues immediately, not after the fact.
What You’ll Get
– Hands-on QA experience in a growing D2C nutraceutical brand.
– Direct exposure to FSSAI-compliant warehouse QA practices from day one.
– Structured mentorship from the QA lead.
– Competitive fresher compensation based on qualifications.
