Job Summary
The Junior Sales Officer assists customers in selecting jewellery, supports senior sales staff, and helps achieve showroom sales targets while delivering polite and reliable customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them with jewellery enquiries
- Display and explain basic details of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery
- Support senior sales officers during customer handling and billing
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of jewellery displays
- Assist in stock handling, tagging, and daily stock checking
- Follow showroom sales procedures and security guidelines
- Encourage customer satisfaction and repeat visits
- Handle basic billing and POS entries under supervision
- Learn product knowledge, purity standards, and pricing methods

- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn jewellery product knowledge
- Honest, disciplined, and presentable personality
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
- Teamwork and positive attitude
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12th Pass
- 0–2 years experience in retail or jewellery sales
Working Conditions
- Retail showroom environment
- Shift-based duty, including weekends and festive seasons
- Standing for long hours.
