Key Responsibilities:1. Civil Maintenance & Infrastructure
- Supervise and monitor all civil maintenance works across the campus.
- Conduct regular inspections of school buildings, classrooms, hostels, laboratories, playgrounds, and other facilities.
- Identify structural issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Ensure timely repair and preventive maintenance of civil assets.
2. Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, estimate, and execute construction, renovation, and expansion projects.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Monitor project progress to ensure completion within the approved timeline and budget.
- Verify the quality of work executed by contractors.
3. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and suppliers.
- Evaluate quotations and recommend suitable vendors.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Verify bills and measurements before payment processing.
4. Quality & Safety
- Ensure construction quality as per applicable engineering standards.
- Conduct site safety inspections and enforce safety regulations.
- Ensure the use of quality materials and proper construction practices.
- Minimize safety risks during construction and maintenance activities.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain records of drawings, estimates, bills, work orders, and project reports.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals from relevant authorities when required.
6. Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare annual civil maintenance budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and control costs.
- Recommend cost-effective engineering solutions without compromising quality.
7. Coordination
- Work closely with the Administration, Purchase, Accounts, Hostel, Transport, and Academic Departments.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to avoid disruption to school operations.
- Attend meetings related to infrastructure planning and development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Valid engineering certification (if applicable).
Experience
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or facility management.
- Experience in schools, educational institutions, hospitals, or large campuses will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of civil construction, structural maintenance, and finishing works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management software.
- Ability to prepare estimates, BOQs, and technical reports.
- Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
