Backend Developer
Java | Spring Boot | Microservices

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop solutions with an Agile Development team.
- Design, develop and debug web applications. Ensure performance, scalability, reuse, security, reliability, and other quality aspects in design and development.
- Deploy solutions to Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain documentation related to design and development.
- Participate in code and design reviews of peers. Ensure code quality and avoid technical risks.
- Participate in creation and review of test plans and test cases with the quality team.
- Estimate development time accurately.
- Communicate effectively with other stakeholders within the team.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language with 4 to 5 years of total work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas, Optionals, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Sound knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with build automation tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis.
- Strong knowledge of ORM concepts such as Hibernate / JPA.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and service decomposition.
- Working knowledge of setting up builds and deployments.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Tracking Tool (Azure DevOps / JIRA), and Docker / Kubernetes.
- Understanding of system integration and communication protocols.
- Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE will be preferred.
- Spring Developer or Spring Professional Certification will be preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications:
- B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)
- BCS (Bachelor of Computer Science)
- MCS (Master of Computer Science)
- MSc – Computer Science
- B-Tech (Bachelor of Technology)
- M-Tech (Master of Technology)
