OVERVIEW
As an Assistant Manager on the Sales & Trade Capabilities team, you will lead a high-performing team that partners across multiple Trade teams (Trade Payments, Trade Planning Capabilities) for the US markets to drive growth and advance capabilities. This role combines thought leadership with hands-on execution, leverage proof of concepts, drive standardization, and implement innovative solutions that accelerate growth and strengthen commercial capabilities.
You will lead end-to-end trade planning & payments activities and build scalable processes to transform how we work, as well as build reporting and insights capabilities that enable data-driven decision making for stakeholders. You will manage and mentor team members to deliver sophisticated reporting, tools, and compelling presentations that showcase actionable insights and strong business acumen. Success in this role demands a transformational mindset, thought leadership, and exceptional stakeholder management to influence cross-functional teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Executional Excellence
Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery across the trade payments (post audit, single funding) & Trade planning capabilities teams.
Establish robust process planning and tracking mechanisms for seamless execution
Champion standardization across processes, markets, and verticals to enhance consistency
Optimize resource allocation, utilization, and capacity planning for maximum efficiency
Maintain 100% compliance with Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and ensure crisis readiness
Drive effective stakeholder engagement to achieve superior customer satisfaction
Align with senior leadership to manage annual performance cycles and support employee career development
Advance Capabilities
Drive strong engagement with trade payments (Post Audit, Single Funding) and trade planning capabilities teams through effective stakeholder management and proactive consulting.
Promote and cross-sell Sales & Commercial Capabilities and best practices at organizational forums to scale impact across markets and channels.
Lead and continuously improve sales processes to ensure plans are data-driven, accurate, customer-centric, and aligned to commercial priorities.
Develop new solutions and capabilities to support sales, trade, and omni-channel strategies – including standard reporting, self-serve dashboards, and advanced insight frameworks.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on trade planning and payments to close market knowledge gaps and enable collaboration-driven success across stakeholders.

Drive Continuous Improvement through identify and implement automation, standardization, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance efficiency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Min. years of related experience required: 4-6 years of experience in CPG (or related) industry with People and Career Management responsibilities; 2 years of People Management
Preferred years of related experience: 5-8 years of Business Reporting, Sales & Trade Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG industry (or related) with People and Career Management responsibilities; 2 years of People Management
Education : Full time Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university
Strong command over oral and written English
Multitasking ability - work on a host of tools/databases and software/platforms effectively to manifest superior results.
