Job Summary
Concept Pharma is looking for a senior Product Manager / Marketing Manager to oversee end-to-end PMT, person will draw quarterly list of task with monthly break up of activities for quarterly task and the formats for quarterly and monthly planning and monthly and quarterly assessments are enclosed.
Key Responsibilities
1.Marketing Strategy and Product Promotion:
a. Strategy formulation
i. Promotional strategy detailing material action plan sample other inputs as required (Visual Aid, Leave behind literature, Action plan, Prescription pad, Question paper, Terminology, Trial reports, Physician samples, Compliments and gifts, Roll out C.D etc.)
ii. HQ wise data base
iii. To Develop / Provide FAQs to the field Force.
b. Promotional Inputs:
i. Innovation / Quality
ii. Timely
iii. Feedback of FF – Effective use
1. Strategy Implementation:
a. Training & TIP / DIP
i. To develop and bring to a minimum level Technical Knowledge and Detailing ability of all members of Field Staff.
ii. Participation in selection of VSOs to ensure minimum potential for skill development
iii. Conducting Induction Program of new Entrants. More Focus on Detailing and revisiting training manual / presentation / training module.
iv. Tracking TIP / DIP data of cycle meetings and validation through T DIP, T Test & observation during field work.
v. Refresher program for field personnel who had not undergone any refresher program in last 6 months / 1 year.
b. Assessment of Field Team’s Grasping and understanding of strategy:
i. Undertaking field work to evaluate TIP / DIP of field personnel (Primarily ASM) and to assess quality / effectiveness / implementation of strategy and to understand competition and gather inputs for future promotion.
ii. Attending roll out meetings to give demo and training ASMs / RSMs for handling Cycle Roll Out.
iii. Analyzing sales trends by RSM/ ASM / VSO for PP. Communicate major deviation to GM and present during the Core Head meeting. Talk to FF(ASM & Selected VSO) to get feedback regularly mainly on promotional strategy, Inputs, & competition.
2. Output of Allotted Brands:
a. Tracking Sales & Growth Trends: Full House & ASM, Take corrective action which are concerned with PMT. Keep GM /RSM informed about deviation.
3. Market Research and Competitors Information:
a. To understand customer buying behavior, Trade dynamics and National / Regional trends & competition.
b. Compiling / Updation of major competitors information primarily Pricing, Schemes, Dosage, Cost/Dose/Treatment. How & Why competitor product sells and Inputs on how to fight competition.
4. CRM Activities:
a. To build corporate image and Goodwill in the mind of policy makers academia and research institutions and to draw mileage from institutions like
i. Veterinary colleges / Universities.
ii. National research institutions - IVRI, Central Institute of Research in - Buffaloes / sheep / Camel / Horses / Goat etc. Fodder Development Institute etc.
iii. Policy making bodies - VCI, ICAR, Milk commissioner, NDDB, IARI etc.
iv. Paravet Training Institutions.
b. Influencing through mailing, Other tools to the following category of customers:-
i. PDCs
ii. High volume customers
iii. Opinion makers
iv. Vets with attached hub / spoke of Paravets.
6. Trials:
a. Veterinary colleges and Universities
b. Clinical
c. Multicenter
7. Field work
a. Assess and ensure implementation of action plan of both Vet / Paravet and OTC promotional- Follow up with field managers (RSM / SMs) for implementation.
b. Meet some key customers of visited territory and demonstrate success
c. Support and develop confidence of field force through technical inputs and increasing call Effectiveness.
d. Other objectives as per HO personnel field tour report format
e. Main focus on identified ASMs / Teams
f. Visiting 2 AMS area every month within 6 to 10 working days /AM and cover 2 HQs per AM per month.
8. New Products Launch:-
a. To have healthy pipeline of in- house new products to ensure continuous growth of the company sales.
b. To add products in new segments (Canine, Equine, Feline Nutrition & Supplements)
c. To convene and in house - NPP committee of Chairman / Managing director / Director marketing / President to draw first list of products shortlisted to build in-house pipeline
d. To compile technical and marketing rational for products shortlisted for RND work
e. To prepare and submit NPP to R&D and draw tentative schedule for getting product/s ready from R&D
f. To coordinate with R&D for formulation development, Packing development and related work
g. To carry out / co-ordinate Pre Launch activities including trials of the products and handle in house launch / market launch of new products
h. To coordinate with 3rd Party for product development as well as In- House and market launch of such Products.
9. Projects
i. . Will be allocated and review on quarterly basis
