Position: School Bus Driver
Location: Adithya Global School
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities.
2. Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
3. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance requirements.
4. Ensure the safety and discipline of students while boarding, traveling, and alighting from the bus.
5. Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance as required.
6. Adhere to all traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety regulations.
7. Keep the bus clean, presentable, and in good operating condition.
8. Coordinate with the Transport Manager and school administration regarding route changes, emergencies, or incidents.
9. Assist students, especially younger children, in boarding and exiting the vehicle safely.
10. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety procedures.
Requirements :
1. Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with School Bus Badge/Endorsement as per statutory requirements.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in driving buses, preferably school buses.
3. Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
4. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
5. Ability to interact courteously with students, parents, and staff.
6. Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours as required by the school.
Preferred Skills:
1. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
2. Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
