Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliable operation of servers, networks, security systems, and business applications while providing technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
- Install, update, and patch operating systems and applications.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Server+, Network+, Security+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
