Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels, conduct physical counts, and reconcile balances against system records.
- Receiving Goods: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify quantities against delivery notes, and reject faulty items.
- Storage & Organization: Arrange materials logically using systematic labeling to maximize space and ensure easy retrieval.
- Issuing Materials: Distribute tools, equipment, or materials to internal staff based on approved requisition slips.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of receipts, issues, returns, and damaged stock using inventory management software.
- Safety & Security: Enforce warehouse safety standards, secure high-value items, and prevent unauthorized access.
Typical Requirements
- Education: High school diploma, vocational certification, or a degree in supply chain, logistics, or business administration.
- Experience: 2+ years of warehouse, inventory management, or material handling experience (construction sector experience is highly valued for project sites).
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle) or basic MS Excel, strong mathematical accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long durations, and occasionally operate machinery like forklifts.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
