The Opportunity
We are looking for a Regional Safety Lead who will serve as the single point of ownership for safety and compliance across all PhysicsWallah offline centers within an assigned region.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety excellence across multiple business verticals, ensuring every center remains compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with the highest standards of health, safety, and infrastructure compliance.
If you have a strong background in EHS, compliance, audits, and multi-site operations, this role offers the opportunity to influence safety culture at scale.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Regional Safety Leadership
Lead safety and compliance initiatives across all offline centers within your assigned region.
Act as the regional owner for safety standards, compliance monitoring, and risk management.
Partner with Operations, Facilities, Projects, and Center Leadership teams to ensure a safe environment for employees and students.
Compliance & Audit Management
Drive compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across centers.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations and corrective actions.
Maintain audit readiness across all locations.
Infrastructure & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to National Building Code (NBC) requirements and applicable statutory regulations.
Monitor fire safety systems, emergency response readiness, and critical safety infrastructure.
Support new center launches and expansion projects by embedding safety requirements from the planning stage.
Risk & Incident Management
Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Drive safety awareness programs, mock drills, and training initiatives across the region.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Safety, EHS, Compliance, or Facility Management roles.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, NBC guidelines, fire safety requirements, and statutory compliance.
Experience managing safety across multiple locations will be highly preferred.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
