The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience by coordinating patient care services, facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, and assisting with admission, discharge, and other patient-related processes. The PCC acts as a single point of contact for patients and their attendants to ensure timely and quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Guide patients and attendants regarding hospital services, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Address patient queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and escalate issues when required.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation related to admissions and patient care.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and facilitate feedback collection.
- Assist in obtaining approvals from insurance/TPA where applicable.
- Coordinate appointments, investigations, and procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and service requests.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Support emergency and VIP patient coordination when required.
- Prepare daily reports and MIS related to patient services.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Life Sciences, or any relevant discipline.
- Certification in Hospital Administration or Patient Care (preferred).
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital, healthcare, or patient relations role.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.

Working Conditions
- Frequent interaction with patients, attendants, clinicians, and support departments.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
