Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Social Studies (SST) Teacher to educate and mentor students preparing for NDA, SSB, CDS, AFCAT, and other defence entrance examinations. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Current Affairs, along with excellent teaching and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective classroom lectures in Social Studies subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, notes, assignments, and practice tests.
- Teach topics related to Indian History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Defence Studies, and Current Affairs.
- Conduct regular assessments and monitor student performance.
- Guide students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Support students in preparation for NDA, CDS, AFCAT, SSB interviews, and other competitive examinations.
- Stay updated with changes in examination patterns and syllabus.
- Participate in academic planning, workshops, and faculty meetings.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Social Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in SST or competitive examination coaching is desirable.
- Strong command of English and Hindi.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of NDA, CDS, AFCAT, CAPF, and other defence examination patterns.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for students.
- Experience in preparing mock tests and question banks.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technologies.
- Strong mentoring and motivational abilities.
