- Diploma mechanical - Frehser or exp.
- Perform quality inspection of all incoming bought-out materials as per approved inspection standards.
- Carry out quality inspection of all incoming machined and manufactured components.
- Conduct final inspection and acceptance testing of assembled products before dispatch.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality issues related to rejected materials and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, identify the root cause, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare, maintain, and update inspection checklists, quality procedures, inspection reports, and other quality-related documents for incoming materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and established inspection procedures.Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensional inspection, and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier callipers,micrometres, height gauges, dial indicators, and related inspection tools.
- Work closely with the production, design, and procurement teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and manufacturing quality.
- Basic knowledge of quality control methods and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with vendors and internal departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for maintaining inspection records and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a systematic approach to inspections.
- Ability to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Knowledge of acceptance testing procedures for mechanical assemblies is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently.
