Ensures the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderly appearance of Guest rooms and Pblic areas as within the hotel presmises, as assigned by the department Head.
Key responsibilities include cleaning rooms, changing linens, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning public areas (lobbies, corridors) and guest rooms.
- Room Maintenance: Making beds, changing linens, washing, and replenishing towels and toiletries.
- Sanitization: Disinfecting bathroom fixtures, kitchen appliances, and frequently touched surfaces.
- Waste Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste correctly.
- Guest Services: Responding promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or cleaning.
- Safety/Maintenance: Reporting maintenance defects, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills for guest interaction.
- Time Management: Efficient in managing cleaning schedules and completing tasks independently.
- Experience: Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is often preferred, though not always required
