Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Cambridge IGCSE Accounting and/or Cambridge International AS & A Level Accounting.
- Prepare annual, term-wise, and weekly lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge syllabus.
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based, and student-centred classroom instruction.
- Develop students' understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial statements, and financial analysis.
- Integrate real-world business and accounting case studies into classroom teaching.
- Ensure syllabus completion within the prescribed academic timeline.
Assessment & Examination
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, quizzes, class tests, and mock examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Analyse student performance and prepare remedial plans for weak learners.
- Guide students in examination techniques and time management for Cambridge assessments.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and progress reports.
Curriculum & Planning
- Follow the latest Cambridge International syllabus and assessment requirements.
- Develop high-quality teaching resources, presentations, and revision materials.
- Participate in curriculum planning meetings and departmental discussions.
- Continuously update teaching practices based on Cambridge curriculum changes.
Student Development
- Mentor students academically and personally.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and ethical decision-making.
- Support students participating in commerce-related competitions, projects, and presentations.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance, lesson records, assessment data, and student portfolios.
- Prepare academic reports as required by the school.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programmes.
- Perform additional academic duties assigned by the Cambridge Principal or Management.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Cambridge International teaching certification or relevant Cambridge teaching experience is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level Accounting.
- Experience in international curriculum schools will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
