Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Nut Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of experience in the fasteners industry and be capable of operating nut forming, threading, tapping, and finishing machines while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor nut manufacturing machines such as cold forging, tapping, threading, chamfering, and sorting machines.
- Set up machines according to production requirements and product specifications.
- Perform machine adjustments and changeovers to minimize downtime.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections using gauges and measuring instruments.
- Identify and segregate defective parts and report quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot minor machine problems and coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs.
- Record production data, rejection reports, and machine downtime accurately.
- Follow 5S, safety guidelines, and company operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rejection.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of nut manufacturing processes.
- Experience in operating cold forging, tapping, and threading machines.
- Ability to read production drawings and work instructions.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, thread plug gauges, and ring gauges.
- Understanding of quality standards and defect identification.
- Basic troubleshooting and machine adjustment skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / 10th or 12th Pass (Technical qualification preferred).
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of experience in a fasteners manufacturing company.
- Experience in producing standard and special nuts.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and quality-focused.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
